Honoring Those Who Healed Us

When a nurse passes, their service to others deserves to be remembered with dignity, respect, and the full honors of their profession.

A Final Call to Duty

The 10-minute ceremony is performed at the fallen nurse's memorial service. Honor guard members are dressed in historical white uniforms with traditional caps and a red-lined navy cape.

Living tributes are also offered for retirement, advanced-age, and terminally ill nurses.

A Final Call To Duty

The Nursing Tribute Ceremony:

Procession of Honor Guard with lighted lamp and white rose.

Reciting of the Nightingale tribute.

Placement of the white rose in honor of our colleague's dedication to their profession.

Final Call to Service with chimes rung to symbolize that their work is done.

The lamp is extinguished and presented to the family.
